David Lee has been in a kitchen for as long as he can remember. Generations of knowledge have been passed down through family members who have owned many local establishments. He started as a dishwasher and through his hard work and determination was able to work his way through the business to achieve his dream of becoming the owner of his own businesses here locally in Corpus Christi. Elias Garza is a born and raised Texan who has called Corpus Christi his home since being honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps in 2010. After much encouragement from his friends and family, he decided to jump headfirst into the restaurant business. David and Elias spent much time perfecting his seasoning blend for his boils and often used their friends as taste testers. Since both men are the betting kind who like to lay it all on the line they decided to make their vision a reality and Mudbugs was born.
